About
Rachel Kenny (b. 1998) is an Irish multi-disciplinary artist and a Fine Art Print graduate (National College of Art & Design) with a background in Philosophy, Sociology and Drama. Kenny is currently a Postgraduate student (MA Print) at The Royal College of Art, London.
Her work is held in the State Art Collection of Ireland and she is the recipient of numerous accolades, including but not limited to, the Graphic Studio Dublin Graduate Award (2023), the Arts Council Agility Award (2024) the DCCI Sustainable Design Award (2025) and Travel and Training Award (2025), and the dlr Emerging Artist Bursary (2026).
Moving beyond the mechanical printing press, Kenny’s practice engages with expanded printmaking, exploring modern temporality in the post-pandemic landscape. Fostering an organic and yielding evolution within her creations, the work underscores the interdependence of all earthly matter. In this space, the work is not merely a product, but a temporal record of labor and care – shifting material from a surface that "holds" an image into a living witness of duration.
